They're really old, they're really decrepid, and they're really not up to doing their jobs any more, but there's no way to fire them! Who are they? They're members of Congress like 90 year old Diane Feinstein, and 81 year old Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, to mention just a couple of members of the congressional over the hill gang! Let's talk about what can be done about this problem, which is getting worse as more and more members of Congress are either senile, physically incapacitated or close to it. The 25th Amendment to the Constitution provides a way to replace a President who is unable to do his or her job any more, and I'll make the case that Congress needs to come up with it's version of the 25th Amendment so we the people can continue to have the kind of representation we want, need and deserve, when a Representative or Senator we elected is unable to serve effectively.

We'll focus on the January 6th, 2021 assault on the U.S, Capitol and the sentences being handed down to some of the leaders of the Proud Boys
found guilty of serious felony charges like seditious conspiracy. One of them just got 17 years in prison, even though he didn't kill anyone, and didn't shoot anyone. Is this sentence fair, or not? My take and yours, here on the 50,000 Watt Front Porch!
