BUD'S BLOG, WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 23, 2023

We'll kick off Wednesday's edition of Good Morning Orlando with a preview of tonight's first debate between

Governor DeSantis and seven other Republicans vying for the GOP presidential nomination.

And then we'll shift gears and discuss something about which there can be no debate- President Biden's

pathetic, embarrassing, maddening and at times totally insensitive visit to the fire ravaged areas of

the Hawaiian island of Maui. More than a hundred Americans died horrible deaths, many incinerated by

wind driven wild fires they could not escape. And there was dottering ol' Joe trying to relate to the unimaginable

loss suffered by so many, by telling a story of a minor fire that impacted his home years ago and was put out

by firefighters in 20 minutes with no injuries!! Someone tell me, what was Biden thinking?! Or is he no longer thinking at all?

The President also fell asleep during a memorial service for the fire victims, and told a stupid, tasteless joke

about the hot ground, etc,, etc, etc. All in all, it was about as cringeworthy as it gets, which is really saying

something when it comes to President Biden. Let's talk about it, shall we?

We'll talk about the growing trend toward Americans demanding a four-day work week and companies

going along with them in order to keep their employees from splitting to work somewhere else. My question

to you: is a four way week a good idea or a bad idea? Obviously workers love it, but I believe an important key to America's greatness has been our ability to outwork the people of any other country on Earth! I worry that over time, if a four day work week becomes the standard, the U.S. will become less productive and we'll be even more of a nation in decline than we already are. Do you share my concerns, or not?

We'll be joined by Newsradio WFLA White House Correspondent Jon Decker who's in Milwaukee, Wisconsin,

site of tonight's Republican presidential debate. He'll have a preview of what to expect as the debate

unfolds on FOX from 9 to 11 pm.

We're back on the electric car beat with more evidence that Joe Biden's EV dreams are becoming

America's nightmare. The President and the Go-Green liberal fanatics pulling his strings are driving

us to buy electric vehicles, which cost too much, and are notoriously unreliable for a host of reasons

we'll explore together.

I've said on the air that I believe tonight's GOP presidential debate could be a make or break event for

Governor Ron DeSantis. With that in mind, Alan and I will talk with Florida's Lt. Governor Jeanette Nunez

about the Governor's debate strategy and what it's going to take for him to close the gap with former

President Trump, hold off the other candidates, and win the Republican nomination!
