Big Spending Forecast for Father's Day

Sunday is Father's Day and James Miller with the Florida Retail Federation says we'll be spending a lot of money on dear ol' dad.

"This father's Day we're actually expecting it to be close to a record high spending of about 133 dollars per person on dads," he said. "Overall, nationally, the numbers (for) spending for Father's Day this year will be over 15 billion dollars."

Miller says the most popular gift this year will be an "experience" like a ball game, a concert or a special outing with the family.

Clothing, gift cards and electronics and home improvement supplies round out the top five gifts for Dad's day.
