Pulse Shooter's Widow Found Not Guilty Of Aiding Her Husband

Noor Salman has been found not guilty of helping her husband Omar Mateen plan an attack at Pulse nightclub that killed 49 people.

A jury found her not guilty of obstruction of justice and aiding and abetting by providing material support to ISIS. Salman broke down in tears as the verdict was read. She faced life in prison if convicted.

Prosecutors alleged that Salman helped her husband scout potential locations for the attack, and knew he was stockpiling ammunition. They said she told FBI investigators that she knew "that he was going to do something bad."

Her defense argued that she was the victim of a "tragic marriage" with an abusive, cheating husband who was easily intimidated. They said her statements to the FBI were made under duress after hours of being interrogated. She did not take the stand during the trial.

The jury made the decision after three days of deliberations.
