Texans Players Kneel to Protest Owner's Comment

It looks like Houston Texans owner Bob McNair's repeated apologies over the weekend for a comment he made about the NFL's national anthem protests haven't satisfied his players. Per ESPN, the Texans are planning a demonstration before their game against the Seattle Seahawks Sunday to protest McNair's comment that the NFL "can't have the inmates running the prison." 

That comment came during an Oct. 17 meeting between players and owners to discuss the protests and was made public Oct. 27 in an ESPN the Magazine story. Texan players discussed a possible walkout during Friday practice and two players did not show up, reportedly in protest.
