TAMPA -- Two people are facing charges after being accused in a street takeover last weekend in Tampa. Police say they were in a car doing donuts in the middle of the intersection at Kennedy Boulevard and MacDill Avenue early Saturday.
Police turned on lights and sirens and cleared they intersection, trailing the car with the helicopter until it stopped a couple of miles away. The car got impounded, and 24-year-old Anwar Awdi and 19-year-old Yasser Awdi are facing charges.
