Trump Meets Victims And First Responders In Florida To Assess Irma Damages

President Trump is assessing storm damages in Florida.  Speaking in Fort Myers, Trump praised first responders for their work after Hurricane Irma. He also commended members of the Coast Guard and FEMA.  Hurricane Irma caused extensive, widespread damage in Florida.  

Governor Rick Scott said the Sunshine State was devastated by the monster storm.  Meantime, the President publicly urged Governor Scott to run for the Senate next year.  

First Lady Melania Trump and Vice President Mike Pence are traveling with the President.  The presidential entourage will also stop in Naples.
