Shots Fired At Washington State High School Leaves At Least One Dead

Authorities say one person is dead and three more have been injured after a shooting at a high school near Spokane, Washington. The "all clear" has been given at Freeman High School but worried parents are still waiting to collect their kids as police continue to investigate the scene.

The deceased has not been identified but Spokane Fire Chief Brian Schaeffer said the shooter has been "neutralized."  The victims have all been transported to an area hospital and their conditions are not known.

Spokane police, ATF agents, and SWAT teams have cleared out the school.  Freeman is in Rockford, which is just outside of Spokane.  All Freeman School District and all Spokane School District schools are on lockdown.
