Wife of Pulse Shooter Wants Taxpayer Funds to Help Pay for Her Legal Fees

INJOThe wife of the Orlando Pulse nightclub shooter, Noor Salman, has claimed she is “indigent” for a portion of her defense, according to an unsealed motion from her lawyer. As a result, she may be getting taxpayer funds to help pay an expert to review all of the government's electronic evidence they have against her.

According to WFTV, Salman is accused of helping her husband, Omar Mateen, scout out the locations, with Mateen reportedly asking his wife “what would make people more upset, an attack on a nightclub or on Downtown Disney?”

She is also accused of lying to authorities about what she knew after her husband killed 49 nightclub goers.

Her defense team is also asking for more time.
